Seaweed Sushi Tacos

  • seaweed sheets

  • sushi rice

    2 cups

  • assorted seafood (shrimp, crab, salmon, etc.)

    1 lb

  • avocado

    1

  • cucumber

    1

  • carrot

    1

  • sesame seeds

    1 tbsp

  • soy sauce

    2 tbsp

  • wasabi

    1 tbsp

  • pickled ginger

    to serve




Steps


  • Prepare sushi rice according to package instructions.

  • Slice the assorted seafood into thin strips.

  • Thinly slice the avocado, cucumber, and carrot.

  • Lay a seaweed sheet flat and spread a layer of sushi rice on one half of the sheet.

  • Place a variety of seafood strips, avocado slices, cucumber slices, and carrot slices on top of the rice.

  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  • Fold the seaweed sheet in half, creating a taco shape.

  • Repeat with the remaining seaweed sheets and fillings.

  • Serve the seaweed sushi tacos with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger on the side.
